The Delta Yo!!!

I got in the Delta which was good news but I got a Delta Awards which is like getting 2nd place. Awesome!!! The photo of the Artist in his Studio down below.
One the longest running, juried contemporary art exhibitions outside New York City, the Delta is open to all artists living in or born in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee or Texas. Founded in 1956, the Delta was created to showcase contemporary works by artists of the Mississippi Delta region. Today, the Annual Delta Exhibition has grown to encompass works in all media and reflects the region’s strong traditions of craftsmanship and observation, combined with innovative use of materials and an experimental approach to subject matter.

Figure Drawing – Kat Wilson
Using graphite, charcoal, and pastel, students will work from the draped figure to create visually expressive work. Class sessions will begin with quick, gestural studies and work toward more complex, resolved images. Students will be able to work at their own level. Students will need to bring 24 x 36 newsprint drawing pad to class. Tuition includes model fee.

Testing my remote camera

Several months ago I got a remote for my camera. I wanted to test how far away I could be and the remote would still fire the camera. I asked a coworker of mine to see if it would fire from outside. I hadn't look at that card since until this last weekend. What I found was hilarious!!!

Cowgirl shoot

Last weekend I shot my first real cowgirl besides my mom (aka Ellie May). These were shot in Moffet, Oklahoma stock yards and at my dad's shop. I acquired a wounded dog and left on my headlights on at this shoot. Now my truck is running and so is my new dog. Well sorta.
